Easy&Safe: the revolution of the multi-channel bank

Movimento Difesa del Cittadino (MDC), Adiconsum and Codacons in collaboration with UniCredit have revived the Facile&Sicuro project, aimed at spreading awareness and using the convenient service.

Easy&Safe: the revolution of the multi-channel bank

The multi-channel bank represents an important tool of social innovation as it allows consumers to use the main banking and financial services in complete safety and without going to the branch, saving time and money. Transfers, payments, the ability to keep your account under control, and much more finally become available every day, including holidays, at any time, simply by connecting to a PC, a smartphone or using a landline.

In order to inform, train and protect citizens on the use of new financial instruments, the "Facile&sicuro, the multi-channel bank" project has been restarted, created by Movimento Difesa del Cittadino (MDC), Adiconsum and Codacons in collaboration with UniCredit as part of Noi&UniCredit framework agreement entered into between 12 consumer associations and the banking group.

According to Rodolfo Ortolani of UniCredit, “this initiative, now in its second edition, is a further tool in support of the substantial Consumer Protection model that UniCredit has been pursuing for years with Consumer Associations. Our commitment to Banking and Financial Education (EBF) activities, in line with the objectives declared in the European Consumer Agenda 2014 - 2020, takes the form of an integrated EBF program (In-Formati programme, with free courses for all citizens) and in projects such as this one, developed within the now consolidated collaboration with Consumer Associations.

Already held as part of the project 4 meetings for the heads of the local offices of the Associations, 150 "antennas" who in turn will organize seminars in the territories, in the Universities, in other places of aggregation, also in favor of citizens with disabilities and motor difficulties for whom the multi-channel bank can represent a tool for financial inclusion, making the Bank more accessible.
During the meetings, the Easy&Safe guide and the decalogue on the "10 things to know about Banca Multicanale", created by the Associations, will be distributed to citizens. The materials are also available and downloadable free of charge on the websites of the three Associations and UniCredit.
