Facebook doesn't work. The social network is unreachable or shows severe slowdowns. Thousands of users are complaining about the possibility of not being able to access the site or navigate correctly within it.
Based on the first reports, the problem does not seem to concern only Italy, but also other countries.
“Sorry, something went wrong” is the message that currently appears to anyone trying to connect to Facebook. “We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can”.
The problems would have started around 13.00 when users began to flock to Twitter, reporting various disservices: "I can't log in" is the most written message. Among the most frequent complaints is also the fact that the service is "slowed down". Not surprisingly, as always happens in these situations, the hashtag #FacebookDown soon rose to the top of Twitter's top trends.
At the moment there is no news on the causes of the malfunction.
