The settlement of Bernardo Bini Smaghi to the presidency of F2i. As revealed by Radiocor, it will take place in a week, i.e. Monday 23 March, the date on which the fund's meeting is set which will appoint the current manager of CDP. The latter is one of the main sponsors of F2i.
The name of Bernardo Bini Smaghi, brother of Lorenzo (who recently took over the presidency of Societe Generale), had already been circulating for a few months: in the last few weeks the definitive framework was found which created the prerogatives for the imminent appointment to the post of president outgoing, Giuliano Asperti, who in turn took the place of the banker Ettore Gotti Tedeschi almost two years ago.
In this way, the renewal at the top of the first Italian infrastructure fund is completed, which already in the autumn had seen the exit of the CEO Vito Gamberale and his replacement with Renato Ravanelli, former head of the A2A company.
