The Revenue Agency has extended the deadlines for payments due at the end of October because of a malfunction of the F24 telematic system, managed by Sogei.

Il extension provision It came after “an anomaly in the system of acquisition of telematic F24 models”, which occurred from 12.48 on 29 October 2024 to 9.56 on 30 October 2024. The problem led to “the rejection of payment delegations with the reason 'Accounting balancing of the tax department'”.
Sogei has communicated that, in the same period of time, no anomalies have occurred in the online services of the Revenue Agency, which functioned correctly, also allowing the submission of membership requests relating to the two-year preventive agreement.
The new deadlines
The law, the Agency recalls in a note, provides that in these cases "the terms of prescription and forfeiture as well as those for fulfilling obligations and formalities provided for by the rules regarding taxes and duties in favor of the Treasury, expiring during the period of non-functioning or irregular functioning, are extended until the tenth day following the date on which the provision of irregular functioning is published". In agreement with the Taxpayers' Guarantor, the Revenue Agency has therefore set the new deadline for the 10th November.
