The 24th edition of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award has started, a recognition promoted by EY with the participation of Azimut Wealth Management. From today until XNUMX June it will be possible to propose your candidacy.
The award celebrates the entrepreneurs who have best known how to seize market opportunities by developing value for their company, significantly contributing to the innovative progress and growth of the Italian economy. Entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, strategic direction, individual and/or corporate social responsibility: these are some of the criteria for analyzing and selecting candidates.
Born in the United States in 1986, the competition was held for the first time in our country in 1997, recording constant growth year after year in terms of prestige and number of applications, with the involvement of 150 cities and over 65 countries. Among the former winners also Oscar Farinetti of Eataly Distribuzione Srl, who established himself in 2014.
Furthermore, the "Start up Award" was established in 2015, a recognition born from the desire to give space and visibility to young and brilliant personalities who, starting from an original and new idea, have managed to give life to a company by proposing new products, new processes, new methods and new services to the market.
The prizes are awarded by an independent jury made up of representatives from the world of institutions, the economy and business. The awards will be presented during a ceremony to be held in Milan in November.
