Export, Intesa Sanpaolo and Sace expand the offer

Intesa Sanpaolo and Sace (Cdp Group) strengthen their partnership by signing three important agreements to support exports and the internationalization of Italian companies.

The two groups communicate this by recalling that "in 2017 alone, the collaboration between Intesa Sanpaolo and Sace made it possible to mobilize 1,5 billion euros of resources to support growth plans abroad
both of large companies and SMEs of the respective production chains, in particular in the
oil & gas, shipping, infrastructure and construction sectors”.

A collaboration that today, the press release specifies, is strengthened thanks to the signing of three new agreements.

The first is a Participation Framework Agreement for risk sharing
which will improve access for corporate clients to the most popular trade finance products
widespread in international trade. The agreement, signed by the Corporate Division e
Investment Banking of Intesa Sanpaolo, will in fact allow an easier
involvement of Sace in the coverage of the risks associated with both the confirmations of
documentary credits used for the payment of supplies abroad, both al
release of the contractual guarantees for the benefit of the Italian companies required for
the awarding and execution of international contracts.

Il second agreement was signed between Intesa Sanpaolo and Sace Srv company of
Polo Sace Simest specialized in debt collection services abroad.
The alliance will allow Intesa Sanpaolo customers to access on conditions
competitive to the services of Sace Srv, which include the management of various
stages of extrajudicial and judicial activity for the recovery of receivables due from
foreign counterparts. To facilitate and accompany the offer of the service, Intesa
Sanpaolo makes its extensive network of branches available in Italy, its own
specialist facilities dedicated to internationalization and a wide range of
products-services that meet the needs of companies operating abroad.

The third agreement consists of renewal of the Convention between Sace and
Mediocredito Italiano (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), which makes available to
SMEs new medium-long term loans, disbursed by Mediocredito e
guaranteed by Sace, intended for internationalization activities (line

The three agreements “confirm and strengthen the collaboration between the parties
with a view to supporting exports and lay the foundations for an ever closer
cooperation in the offer of tools that accompany Italian companies in the
their internationalization process.
