Experis Academy, the Training Provider of ManpowerGroup specialized in technical training on the IT&Technology segment, together with Microsoft Italy andUniversity of Naples Federico II, launch the first Junior Talent Program in Italy in the field low-code to become Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant.

The course aims to train for free of low-code consultants on Microsoft technologies that they are able to implement solutions without or with little code, which would normally require very high development skills.

Course contents and how to apply

Il course it will last six weeks starting from May 15, with a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday for a total of 240 hours, under the scientific direction of Microsoft and Federico II University. The mode of training it will be hybrid and will have a highly practical and laboratory approach. They will be 15 participants who will be selected throughout Italy with a three-year and master's degree in any discipline (not only in the scientific field). To apply it will be sufficient to access thespecific section on the site of Experis Academy.

I course content will cover the use of standard Microsoft Customer Engagement modules and the low-code application development platform Power Platform, which includes Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Power Automate. The program will also offer support and facilities for taking the official exams for the Microsoft MB-910 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals – CRM) and PL-200 (Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant) certifications.

Training talents in a new digital environment

Experis Academy aims with this course to provide talent to Italian companies that are struggling to find workforce especially in digital environment. For ManpowerGroup, in fact, the so-called skill shortage in the IT field it now concerns the 72% of companies nationals, who struggle to find the figures with the desired skills.

In a context of market shortage of developers equipped with advanced skills, the importance and need for systems increases low-code development, or platforms that allow you to create applications minimizing traditional programming. There are many companies lately that have decided to buy these low-code or no-code platforms to move innovation within the company. It is estimated that by 2023, low-code development will be adopted by over 50% of medium-large companies. Second Gartner, the world's most renowned IT company, by 2025, 70% of new applications developed will use low-code or no-code technologies (up from 25% in 2020).

The adoption of low-code systems ha many advantages for companies such as the reduction of development time, costs, the use of resources and a greater pervasiveness of digital technologies in the company. Furthermore, by simplifying processes, profiles with non-technical backgrounds can approach the IT world by expanding the pool of candidates for companies.
