Exor joins the Espresso group: it is the second shareholder

The holding company of the Agnelli family, Exor, has become the second shareholder of the Gedi publishing group, born from the merger between Espresso-Repubblica and La Stampa.

With the purchases of Gedi shares in recent days, John Elkann's Exor now has 5,6% of the capital of the publishing group controlled by Cir of the De Benedetti family which holds 43%.

Elkann also said he wanted to personally remain on Gedi's board "to support and strengthen the company in the long term".
