The group of the Agnelli family, one of the founders of the company in 2008, sells all the shares in Banijay collecting over 60 million euros - The shares go to the new company that will be born from the merger of Banijay and Zodiak Media

Exor sells shares in Banijay and realizes capital gain of 24 million

The financial company of the Agnelli family Exor announces the sale of its stake in Banijay (equal to 17,1%), an independent television production company led by Stephane Courbit, of which Exor was one of the founders in 2008.

The shareholding of Exor, together with that of some other minority shareholders, will be purchased by the new company that will be born from the merger between Banijay and Zodiak Media. Exor collects from this operation 60,1 million euro realizing a capital gain of 24,8 million.

Completion of the transaction is expected in the first half of 2016.

Meanwhile this morning the title Exor in Piazza Affari it yields slightly (-0,3%) falling to 40,47 euro per share.
