In April, Eurozone production in the steel sector construction it grew by 2% compared to March. This was communicated by Eurostat, specifying that this is the first monthly increase of 2013. The figure reverses a downward trend that had also affected the last months of 2012.
A positive result also for the entire European Union of 27, where construction production grew by 0,9% in the same period. Italy is among the countries showing the greatest increase: +5,5% compared to March.
On an annual basis, however, the figure for the Eurozone shows a drop of 6,6%. In the European Union, the decrease compared to April 2012 was 5,9 per cent.
