Eurozone: GDP will grow by 1,3% in 2015, sales on standby

According to the Outlook elaborated by Ifo, Istat and Isee, the Italian GDP is destined to grow by 1,3% in 2015 – In the first three quarters of the year, cyclical increases of 0,4% – Slowdown in retail sales which, despite the annual growth, they fell by 0,2% compared to January.

The economy ofEurozone is destined to grow in 2015. According to the Economic Outlook prepared by Ifo, Istat and Insee, i.e. the statistical institutes of Germany, Italy and France, according to which the GDP of the currency union will grow by1,3% in 2015, with increases of 0,4% in each of the first three quarters.

Growth will be driven by a significant recovery in net exports and robust growth in private consumption, favored by lower energy prices, in addition to the effects of the ECB's Quantitative Easing.

Partial setback, however, for the retail sales of the Eurozone, which in February recorded a decrease of 0,2% compared to January, against a growth of 3% on the year. Compared to the same month in 2014, sales of non-food products and fuels increased.
