Eurozone, inflation stops at 2,4% in June

As regards the EU of 27 countries, last month there was a slight increase in the inflation rate: to 2,6%, against 2,5% in May (and 3,1% 12 months earlier ).

Eurozone, inflation stops at 2,4% in June

Inflation stable at 2,4% in June in the Eurozone. This is confirmed by Eurostat, underlining that the figure is unchanged compared to May, while in June a year ago inflation had risen by 2,7%.

As regards the EU of 27 countries, last month there was a slight increase in the inflation rate: to 2,6%, against 2,5% in May (and 3,1% 12 months earlier ).

The prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco and those related to housing and transport, which depend on increases in fuel, have increased, while the prices of communications have fallen, due to the reductions in TLC tariffs.
