Slight growth in industrial production and employment in the Eurozone. According to data released today by Eurostat, in fact, the production of the currency union recorded a monthly increase of 0,1% in October, following the 0,5% recorded in September. On an annual basis, the growth was 0,7%.
Again according to Eurostat, the number of people employed in the Eurozone stood at 148,2 million units in the third quarter of 2014, thus recording a growth of 0,2% in the quarter and 0,6% on an annual basis. In the enlarged Union of 28 countries the increase was 0,3% on the quarter and 0,9% on the year.
