The inflation rate in the Eurozone is slowing down, going from 1,8% in February to 1,7% on an annual basis in March. This was revealed by the initial estimates released today by Eurostat which, if confirmed, would be consistent with the downward trend underway in recent months.

Within this slowdown in price growth, the energy sector stands out, for which inflation stood at 1,7% in March after 3,9% in February.
