The prices of industrial production in Europe start to rise again in July. Eurostat has in fact communicated that, compared to last month, in July the increase was 0,5% in the Eurozone (in line with expectations) and 0,4% in the EU of 27 countries.
In June, however, the figure was unchanged in both areas, while in May prices in the euro area had fallen by 0,2%. On an annual basis in the Eurozone the increase was 6,1% after 5,9% in the previous month, while in the EU 27 countries there was a 7% growth from 6,8% in June.
