A new 1,7 billion order for the supply of the “ZyWan” cellular router. This is the latest good news from Eurotech, an Italian company active in the production of embedded systems. The order originated from an unspecified electricity supplier company with over two million customers. Delivery should take place by the end of the year.
With the new Eurotech equipment, the company intends to carry forward its project which envisages wireless connections for smart meters of industrial and domestic users, complete with enabling for control, supervision and data acquisition activities.
The announcement had a positive effect on Eurotech shares, which shortly after the start of trading gained around 2% in Piazza Affari.
