Eurostat, EU GDP up +0,2%

The European Statistical Institute has released its flash estimate of growth across the European Union and Euroland. The datum is placed within the forecast range even if in the lower part.

According to the Eurostat flash estimate, GDP growth in the euro area was 0,2 percentage points compared to the previous quarter and 1,45 on an annual basis. The data is in line with the expectations which positioned the growth compared to the previous quarter between 0 and 0,5%. As regards the growth of the Europe of the 27, the GDP increased in a similar manner +0,2% in the quarter and +1,4% on an annual basis.
