Eurostat: EU balance of payments in the second quarter in surplus of 4,6 billion

Eurostat data record, in the second quarter, the improvement in the European Union's balance of payments, with a surplus of 4,6 billion euros - A year ago, a deficit of 37,1 billion - The current account deficit decreases and the surplus grows of services.

Eurostat: EU balance of payments in the second quarter in surplus of 4,6 billion

It improves markedly the balance of payments of the European Union which, in the second quarter, scores a surplus of 4,6 billion euros, compared to the deficit of 37,1 billion in the same period of the previous year.

This was announced by Eurostat, who then communicates how compared to the April-June 2011 quarter the deficit concerning the current account of goods has decreased (down from -41,0 billion to -12,2 billion), while the surplus in services has growni (+32,5 billion compared to +28,2 billion). The only data in the opposite direction is that of the deficit of current transfers, growing to -13,8 billion against -11,8 billion last year.
