The national coach has released the official list of 23 players called up, to which must be added the three reserves Zappacosta, Benassi and Rugani: in the event of an injury up to 24 hours before the opening match, a substitution can be made.

Above all, the exclusions of Jorginho and Bonaventura, who could have been important pieces in a midfield already decimated by the absence of Marchisio, Verratti and Montolivo due to injury, made the news. Coach Antonio Conte, on the other hand, considered the other two remaining central midfielders to be sufficient, namely De Rossi and Thiago Motta, to whom he joined the Juventus player Sturaro and the Florentine Bernardeschi, who will be able to relieve the already secure Florenzi, Giaccarini, El Shaarawy and I speak.

In defense there is instead Ogbonna (preferred to Astori and Rugani), who joins the Juventus block. The reserves Zappacosta, Benassi and Rugani are also added to the list of 23 Azzurri who will still work with the team because, in the event of an injury up to 24 hours before the opening match, a substitution can be made. In attack confirmed the quintet Pellè, Zaza, Immobile, Insigne and Eder.
