Lazio overcome St. Etienne with some apprehension: in the end it is 3-2 despite the double numerical superiority of the biancocelesti – Walk of health for Fiorentina, who overwhelms Belenenses 4-0 in Portugal: Rossi returns to goal after 501 days - Napoli goes 2-0 in Warsaw: another Higuaìn masterpiece.

Europa League, Italian trio: Lazio, Fiorentina and Naples win

The second day of the Europa League is magical for the Italians, who score a trio of victories scoring a total of 9 goals.

The least easy success is that of Lazio, engaged at the Olimpico against St. Etienne, currently second behind PSG in the French championship. The biancocelesti immediately go behind with an unfortunate carom in the area, but before the interval they find the equal with Onazi. In the second half the comeback was completed with goals from Hoedt and Biglia, but in the final the French – left in 9 – made up for it with a great lob from Monnet-Paquet. In the end it's 3-2: Lazio with 4 points together with Dnipro, while St. Etienne and Rosenborg remain within one point.

Much easier to win than Fiorentina, who strolls on the Belenenses field and takes the fourth consecutive victory between the Championship and the Cup, conquering the first 3 points of this Europa League and placing second in the group. The Portuguese are settled with a sharp 4-0 which bears the signatures of Bernardeschi, Babacar and Rossi (in addition to Tonel's own goal). The Viola's superiority is absolute in every aspect of the game and the happiest note of the evening is Pepito's return to scoring, who finds the goal again 510 days after the last time.

In the evening, the Napoli puts the exclamation point on the day of the Italians in the Europa League by beating Legia Warsaw 2-0 away from home. It all happens in the second half. Mertens opens the dance, who heads the ball – not really his specialty – a cross from Callejon. On 1-0 Maggio nearly scored his own goal by hitting the post and Allan wasted twice the double. But then Higuaìn takes care of closing the practice: as soon as he enters, Pipita dances horizontally on the penalty area line and throws an impressive right foot under the cross. Now the Azzurri lead the group with full points together with Midtjylland.
