EUROPE LEAGUE – Fiorentina and Naples, give us Warsaw

It will be difficult for Fiorentina to overturn the 0-3 draw in Seville, but Napoli can win the final in Warsaw against Dnipro after the first leg mockery – Montella dreams of the feat and Benitez relies on Higuain

EUROPE LEAGUE – Fiorentina and Naples, give us Warsaw

And after Berlin, give us Warsaw! Napoli and Fiorentina present themselves in the second leg of the semi-finals with only one big goal: to win the Europa League final. The Azzurri and Viola have different perspectives, there is no doubt about this: for the former it would be enough to draw with Dnipro by scoring at least two goals, while the latter must perform a real feat to overturn the 0-3 draw against the Seville.

“We will take the field to score and win – the words of Benitez. – We know their characteristics, they are strong in defence, on counter-attacks and set-pieces. But we score a lot, we are already at 98 and we want to reach 100…”. In short, a lot of confidence, despite the fact that Napoli's moment is anything but serene. First the draw in the first leg, spoiled by a sensational offside that unleashed the fury of De Laurentiis, then the chaos in Parma, which ended with the disqualification of Benitez (the coach allegedly shouted "calcio italiano di m...") and a fine Higuain.

“I'm surprised that someone has heard my sentence but not the constant chants on Vesuvius – the Spaniard replied bitterly. – As far as the referee is concerned, I'm confident, he's experienced (the Serbian Mazic, ed), I'm confident that mistakes like this won't happen again”. No comment on the other hand from Higuain, focused only on Dnipro and its goalkeeper Boyko, who emerged victorious from the first leg confrontation. “It will have to be the night of all Napoli, not just mine – explained Pipita. – Lately we have been very unlucky but we want to give the city a historic final".

The team from the first leg should take the field at the Olimpiyskiy, with the exception of Jorginho, who is a slight favorite over Inler. In defense, in front of Andujar's goal, there will be Maggio, Britos, Albiol and Ghoulam, in midfield, in addition to the Italian-Brazilian, David Lopez, who scored the first leg. On the trocar confirmation for the Callejon-Hamsik-Insigne trio, with Gabbiadini and Mertens ready to take over from the bench, all in support of the untouchable Higuain. No doubts instead for Markevych, who will field Dnipro with the usual 4-2-3-1, enhanced by the star Konoplyanka.

Night for strong hearts also in Florence. Despite the beating in the first leg, the city believes in a comeback and is ready to fill the Franchi stands (around 35 tickets had been sold yesterday). “We have a 10%, maybe 15% chance of passing – admitted Montella. – Few chances, it's true, but we want to make the most of them. We could even win 5-0, why not? We approach an important event, full of desire for revenge. We will have to force the match, a goal could change the inertia”.

The purple plan is all here, on the other hand, with a 0-3 to replace, it's really not the time to get lost in tactics. Montella is still undecided between the 4-3-3 (Salah-Gomez-Joaquin in attack) and the 3-5-2 (same interpreters but with different positions), moreover he is tempted by the Ilicic card, who appeared in great form last Sunday in that of Empoli. Less doubts for Emery, on the other hand his Sevilla have a clear advantage. The Spaniards will take the field with the usual 4-2-3-1 with Vidal, Banega and Vittolo supporting Bacca.
