The Credem group announces that from Monday two new Pir funds (individual savings plans) will be available for placement: Euromobiliare Pir Italia Azionario and Euromobiliare Pir Italia Flessibile. The objective of the launch of the two new products by Euromobiliare Asset Management Sgr, the group's asset management company, is to diversify the range of offers according to the needs of savers, offering the possibility of benefiting from the tax advantages envisaged for Pir and at the same time supporting the real Italian economy in a long-term perspective.
The two products, specifies a note from the group, make it possible to reap the benefits envisaged for the PIRs through very different management policies. Euromobiliare PIR Italia Azionario is a fund that focuses on the equity segment, while Euromobiliare PIR Italia Flessibile has a greater focus on the bond segment.
In fact, the PIRs were launched as a result of an initiative by the Legislator at the beginning of 2017 with the aim of supporting Italian companies and SMEs in particular. This type of product provides for the investment of funds raised in financial instruments issued by Italian companies and offers tax breaks to savers who hold the investment for at least five years (no taxation on income generated by the investment and on inheritance tax).
