Euro rally towards 1,27 dollars

Not just stock exchanges and government bonds. The agreement found during the night in Brussels on the anti-spread shield and the ESM's direct loans to banks is also galvanizing investors who bet on the euro. Since this morning, the single currency has continued to appreciate against the euro, gradually recovering much of the ground lost in recent weeks.

In the early afternoon the change reached 1,2689 (the highest level since last June 21), traveling decisively towards 1,27. Only yesterday, on Wall Street, the euro was worth 1,2444 dollars. The increase is therefore around 2%. In the same minutes, the single currency rose to 100.85 against the yen and to 0,8079 against the pound.

Meanwhile, all European price lists are on the rise, with Piazza Affari gaining more than four and a half points. The spread between the BTP and the Bund instead stood at 424 basis points, after closing yesterday at 468.
