Eurizon, the asset management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, announces the launch of the partnership with Oval Money, Italian-English fintech startup active in the world of savings and digital payment services, following a direct minority investment by the SGR in the company's capital.
Oval Money is the company specialized in providing financial services that has revolutionized the world of savings by bridging the distance between people and finance. Oval, the platform developed by the company, is characterized by an innovative approach in the world of savings and digital services, which allows you to approach customers and investments regardless of the capital available, always in line with the habits and possibilities of savers, offering security standards consistent with those of a banking institution.
The initiative will allow Eurizon to activate a new development engine, digital and simplified. Through the new partnership, in fact, Eurizon will have a distribution channel aimed at a complementary range of customers to that of the traditional networks. A channel that will tend to represent an important growth factor and through which further digital initiatives can be developed for the management of Italian and foreign customers.
The operation falls within the objectives announced in business plan of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group 2018-2021 which identifies among the trends supporting growth the creation of new digital and simplified service models, to be used also as prototypes for development abroad, based on innovative technologies.
