The Revenue Agency specifies in a note that the "declarations of non-detention of the TV license fee (Dnd)" and the requests for reimbursement must be transmitted electronically exclusively through the website www.agenziaentrate.gov.it. "Shipping is free - underlines the taxman - no type of payment is in fact due by taxpayers".
We must therefore not trust all the other sites that ask for personal data and credit card numbers to guarantee exemption from the Rai 2017 license fee. in the Revenue note -, until the cardholder proceeds to block it".
Anyone who has already fallen for the scam or comes across sites of this type can report the scam to any agency office and to the police forces.
We remind you that there is time until 31 January to submit the substitutive declaration to the tax authorities, i.e. the self-certification with which taxpayers can communicate that they meet the requirements for exemption from the Rai 2017 license fee.
The Revenue Agency itself recalls that the first installment for the Rai 2017 license fee is already charged in January, therefore "it is advisable to submit the substitute declaration electronically by the end of December".
HOW TO SUBMIT THE REPLACEMENT DECLARATION
The self-declaration model for the exemption from the Rai 2017 fee is available on the websites of the Revenue Agency and Rai and must be presented directly by the taxpayer or heir through a web application, available on the Agency's website, using the Fisconline or Entratel credentials, or through authorized intermediaries (Caf and professionals).
In cases where electronic transmission is not possible, the form can be sent, together with a valid identification document, by postal service in registered mail without an envelope to the address “Agenzia delle Entrate Ufficio di Torino 1, SAT – Sportello abbonamenti tv – PO Box 22 – 10121 Turin”.
The substitute declaration can be digitally signed and also submitted by certified e-mail to the address cp22.sat@postacertificata.rai.it.
