Change in driving Erion Care: the Board of Directors of the non-profit Consortium of the Erion System, committed to fighting the abandonment of waste resulting from tobacco products in the environment, has designated Michele Samoggia like new president, taking over from Enrico Ziino, who has led the Consortium since its foundation in 2022. The Erion Care Board of Directors has also appointed new directors Marianna Buonomo, corporate affairs manager of Imperial Brands Italia, e James Mele, finance manager of Imperial Brands Italia.

Who is Michele Samoggia

Samoggia, graduated in Political Science from the Roma Tre University, furthered his education with a specialization in "Environment and Development" at the London School of Economics and Political Science. With over 10 years of experience in the external relations sector, he has held roles of responsibility both in the institutional context and in communication, in both the public and private sectors. After significant experiences with international organizations such as Unicef ​​and FAO, he consolidated his career in major companies such as Enel, the Ministry of Economic Development and BASF. For eight years, Samoggia has contributed to the success of Philip Morris Italia, first as manager of Institutional Affairs and currently as senior manager of Communications and Sustainability.
