Erg accelerates on wind power: it will grow by 45% in 4 years

Erg increasingly relies on renewables, and in particular on wind power, for growth over the next few years with a gross operating profit of 450 million (+7%). And it ensures a dividend policy of at least 50 cents per share. These are some of the goals of the Industrial Plan 2015-2018 approved by the Board of Directors of ERG. However, the Stock Exchange remained cold: the Erg share is down by 1,96% when the FitseMib falls by 0,5% (but is recovering), in a market dominated by uncertainty pending the Fed's decisions on expected rates for tonight.

In detail, the energy company is aiming for a average annual increase in EBITDA of 7%, with a value of 450 million euros at the end of the Plan.

La installed capacity it is expected to reach around 2.950 MW at the end of 2018, marking a 62% increase compared to the end of 2014.

In wind power installed capacity is instead expected to be around 1.950 MW in 2018 (+45% compared to the end of 2014) of which around 44% located outside Italy.

Expected total investments for 1,9 billion euros, of which 1,5 billion in 2015 and around 400 million mainly for organic investments in wind power between 2016 and 2018.

ERG then expects an increase in net financial position to 1,9 billion euros in 2015, and a deleverage in subsequent years by around 600 million to 1,3 billion at the end of 2018.

as to dividend policy, a minimum value of 0,5 euro per share has been set during the plan period.

The Group will aim at the geographical diversification – growth abroad of about 600 MW of installed power is expected

in wind power – and to technological diversification through the integration of the 527 MW of the newly acquired hydroelectric nucleus

of Terni.
