Erg: 145 million refinancing for three wind farms

Erg Eolica Fossa del Lupo, Erg Eolica Amaroni and Erg Eolica Basilicata (entirely controlled by ERG Power Generation), today signed a loan agreement with a duration of 10 years and 6 months – On Piazza Affari the Erg share earns 1,63% to 12,45 euros.

Erg: 145 million refinancing for three wind farms

Erg Eolica Fossa del Lupo, Erg Eolica Amaroni and Erg Eolica Basilicata (entirely controlled by ERG Power Generation), today signed a loan agreement for a total of 145 million and a term of 10 years and 6 months. 

The three companies involved in the transaction own 3 wind farms located in Calabria and Basilicata for a total installed capacity of 154 MW.

The transaction, in relation to the operational and financial performance of the aforementioned wind farms, made it possible to refinance the existing project financing signed between 2012 and 2014 at significantly better economic conditions, with a reduction in the interest rate margin of over 50 % compared to the original conditions.

The loan agreement, for an amount of 145 million Euros and a duration of 10,5 years, was signed by Crédit Agricole CIB Milan Branch, as Coordinating & Structuring Bank and Mandated Lead Arranger, by BNP Paribas (CIB Italia ) and by ING Bank NV- Milan Branch as Mandated Lead Arranger and UBI Banca SpA, as Mandated Lead Arranger and Agent Bank. Crédit Agricole Carispezia instead acted as Account Bank.

On Piazza Affari, the Erg share gained 1,63% to 12,45 euros.
