Equitalia will be able to enter the bank

The Finance commission in the Senate asks to give Equitalia “free access to all financial information concerning taxpayers, such as, for example, Italian and foreign bank accounts, the sale of cars or boats, securities accounts, etc. etc. as happens in countries across the border”.

Equitalia will be able to enter the bank

The Government should allow Equitalia to poke its nose into the bank accounts of Italians. Or rather, to have “free access to all financial information concerning taxpayers, such as Italian and foreign bank accounts, the sale of cars or boats, securities accounts, etc. etc. as happens in countries across the border”. This is what can be read in an opinion of the Senate Finance Committee approved by a majority, with the aim of improving the effectiveness of the anti-avoidance activities carried out by the agency. They voted against Lega and Mixed Group.

The commission also asks for a review of what Prime Minister Matteo Renzi had defined as "a lot of stuff", ie the cut from 8% to 6% of the premium on collection. In particular, the Executive is asked to reduce the cut from 6 to 7% and to postpone its application, making it effective only on the roles entrusted to agents starting from 2016 January XNUMX.

Not only that: "Compatibly with the needs of the state budget", the commission asks to "provide forms of integration of revenues". In other words, a public intervention financed by taxpayers.
