The agreement governing the forms of collaboration between the Guardia di Finanza and Equitalia on the basis of the provisions of the Decree of the Minister of Economy and Finance of 18 July 2007 was renewed today at the General Headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza.
In particular, the activities of the Corps will take the form of providing assistance in the context of movable foreclosures and the processing of data and news aimed at completing the tax collection procedures. The joint effort will be directed towards the larger pockets of evasion. In fact, the investigations will be carried out against companies and/or self-employed workers operating on the market and registered for tax debts that tend to exceed 100.000 euros.
In a context of uncertainty and economic crisis, the synergies between the two Administrations will make it possible to reduce the number of interventions, increasing their quality, and making the fight against the most insidious forms of tax evasion more effective.
