The "SMS - Se Mi Scordo" service is underway with which Equitalia wants to continue the reform of the collection model and at the same time build a new relationship with taxpayers. Messages on the mobile phone or e-mail to announce a folder, to remind those who are paying in installments that only one is missing to expire, but also to signal that the payment of the installments is not regular. The project, wanted by the managing director Ernesto Maria Ruffini, is part of the reform implemented by Equitalia to provide a new service to citizens and more innovative tools such as the responsive portal and the Equiclick app.
Se Mi Scordo can be activated either by contacting one of the 202 branches of the collection company, or on the portal (http://www.gruppoequitalia.it). In the first case it is necessary to fill in a simple form in which, in addition to the traditional personal data and the tax code, one must choose whether to indicate one's mobile phone number or the email on which to receive communications from Equitalia. To activate it from the Group's website, you need to have the credentials and then access the private area and follow the instructions to register.
The communications, to date, foreseen by 'Se Mi Scordo' are of three types: when Equitalia is entrusted with a debt to be collected from one of the 6.700 entities and in particular the Revenue Agency, Inps, Inail, and therefore Municipalities (3.500), Provinces (86), Regions (18), Territorial professional orders (363), Transport companies (30) and other creditor bodies; when the taxpayer who has an installment plan with Equitalia has not paid at least half of the maximum number of installments envisaged to expire; when there is only one installment left before falling from the agreed plan.
IF I FORGET AT THE DOOR. In one of the 202 Equitalia offices it is possible to find the form to request the service. The Equitalia counters are open from 8.15 to 13.15, while the so-called high-traffic counters in Naples, Turin, Milan and Rome until 15,15.
IF I FORGET ON THE SITE. After entering the portal (http://www.gruppoequitalia.it), it is necessary to access the reserved area with the access credentials (SPID, Agenzia delle Entrate, Inps and Carta Nazionale dei Servizi). Then click on “Se Mi Scordo”, enter your mobile phone number or e-mail address. Confirm and save the data after reading the privacy policy. At that point the taxpayer will receive the verification code by text message or email depending on the option he has indicated. By clicking again on "Se Mi Scordo" you can activate the service. The user can decide whether to activate the service that anticipates the bill or the one relating to notices on installment due dates. "Se Mi Scordo" is a purely informative service, it does not in any way replace the notification of an act and therefore has no value or legal obligation in the relationship between users and Equitalia, and can be revoked at any time.
FAIR INFO. A text message anticipates the folder. The taxpayer who activates the "SMS - Se Mi Scordo" service will be notified when Equitalia has been entrusted by the creditors with the collection of a sum to be paid by him, therefore before the notification of the actual tax return. A message or email will arrive, with the sender "Equi Info" and the text announcing that Equitalia has been appointed to collect a sum, and therefore the message sent anticipates the actual notification. Anyone who wishes can also check their situation in the reserved area of the portal, request assistance by contacting the Equitalia counters or call the single number 060101 from a landline or mobile.
Installments and deadlines under control. Taxpayers who already have an installment payment in progress with Equitalia will be notified in case
at least half of the maximum number of installments envisaged for forfeiture have not been paid. A message or email will arrive with the sender
"Equi Info" and the text which also contains the number of the deferment plan reminding that the deadlines have not been respected. Whoever receives this message can check in the reserved area of the portal or at the company counters.
An installment is missing. Finally, those who have an active installment plan will also be notified when a single installment is missing before the forfeiture of their extension plan agreed with Equitalia. A message or email will arrive with the sender "Equi Info" and the text reminding you that failure to pay another installment will void the installment plan. If Mi Scordo is another step in a process that began with the simplification of taxpayer deeds, cutting 60% of the paper forms, with the so-called "cartella amica", i.e. a pre-compiled form to be able to immediately choose one's own installment plan, the development of the use of certified e-mail, up to investments in digital with the new responsive portal and the app, real IT counters where it is possible to carry out all the operations. As well as direct debit which is having an excellent response and which will also be a useful tool for those who adhere to the facilitated definition.
