Equitalia closes its doors with a record collection. After exceeding the 8 billion euro mark two years ago, in 2016 the company achieved a new historic record with over 8,7 billion. The increase compared to 2015 is 6,17 percent, equal to 509 million euro.

These numbers "have had an impact on the reform implemented last year - specifies Equitalia in the press release - which has led from three to a single collection company, to a new relationship with taxpayers and the digitization of services, as well as greater productivity of the structures of society”.

The positive balance is once again driven by the Centre-North (from Tuscany to the Valle d'Aosta) which records over 4,8 billion euros, while in the regions of Centre-South (including Umbria and Lazio) the collection is close to 3,9 billion euros.

Benefiting from this result is first of all theInland Revenue, for which 4,66 billion euros were collected, 414,6 million euros more than in 2015 (+9,75%).

The balance of the collection of Equitalia on behalf of was also positive INPS, which in 2016 came close to 2,5 billion (+5,5%), 124 million euros more than in 2015.

The figure relating to ai is down slightly Municipality, for which 530 million euros were collected, 20 less than in 2015. The bill for theInail, however, amounted to 117 million in 2016 (+4,7%).
