Wind, Enel launches park in Brazil

Enel, through its Brazilian renewables subsidiary Enel Green Power Brasil Participacoes, has started production at the Delfina wind farm, which has a total installed capacity of 180 MW. The plant is located in the municipality of Campo Formoso in the northeastern state of Bahia, Brazil. The company reports it in a statement.

For the construction of Delfina, the Enel Group has invested approximately 400 million dollars which form part of the company's strategic investment plan, and will be financed in part from its own funds, as well as through a loan from the Brazilian Development Bank.

In Brazil, the Group is present with a total installed renewable capacity of 1.839 MW, of which 670 MW of wind, 279 MW of solar photovoltaic and 890 MW of hydroelectric, as well as approximately 720 MW of capacity currently under construction, of which 172 MW wind and 541 MW solar.
