The Rome prosecutor's office is investigating Eolo Parodi, president of Enpam. The hypothesis of the crime is of aggravated scam. The investigation revolves around suspicious investments by the National Insurance and Assistance Agency for Doctors and Dentists. Losses are assumed to be approx 500 million euro.
The investigation started last June after a complaint presented by some members of the institution's board of directors and by the presidents of the Medical Associations of Catania, Ferrara, Bologna and Latina.
