Un Intercity train foiled with eight artistic postcards and natural landscapes to be reached easily by train to promote the , sustainability. This is the content of the agreement signed byNational Tourist Board e Trenitalia (FS Group) and presented on 28 July in Milan by the marketing director of ENIT, Maria Elena Rossi, and by the business director of Intercity, Domenico Scida.
Choosing to bet on Intercity trains to encourage tourism it is no coincidence: in addition to being the most popular category of trains also by foreign visitors, for the summer of 2022 75 new stops have been added to the 124 daily connections, between day and night.
Furthermore, to further encourage tourism, carriage 3 has been made "family-friendly": 24 seats, stroller area, nursery inside a spacious bathroom, themed tables with games for the little ones and a stand-up area . Added to this is the "free children" promotion which provides for each paying adult a free child up to 15 years of age. To enhance sustainability, six bike spaces are available to Intercity passengers and two charging points for passengers who love cycling.

It is a further step towards the integration between the train and the promotion of innumerable destinations and artistic beauties within walking distance of the stations served. More than five million customers will have traveled on Intercity at the end of the summer and the most popular destinations include the Ligurian Riviera and Versilia, Sicily and the entire Adriatic coast".
