Eni signs two contracts in Myanmar

Eni has signed contracts for the exploration of two offshore blocks in Myanmar. The joint venture is made up of the Italian group, 80% operator through Eni Myanmar BV, and Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation Limited (20%).

The two blocks will be the object of a two-year study, which will be followed by an exploration activity lasting 6 years divided into three phases. “With the contracts signed today we are further diversifying our exploration portfolio”, commented the managing director Claudio Descalzi.
