New orders for Saipem. The announcement was made by Eni's subsidiary in a statement. The company, according to the note, has been awarded offshore engineering and construction contracts in Indonesia and in the Republic of the Congo for a total value of approximately 520 million dollars. 

In the Asian country, Eni has awarded the EPCI contract to a consortium led by Saipem for a newly built floating production unit, which will have a treatment capacity of 450 million cubic meters of gas per day and will be used for the development of the Jangkrik Complex project. Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd (Hhi) is also part of the consortium. The total contract value for the project is $1,1 billion.

In Congo, on the other hand, Saipem was awarded a contract by Aker Solutions for the manufacture of subsea structures, including anchorage structures, for the Moho project. The project "will use the local manufacturing capabilities that Saipem has developed over the years with its Boscongo shipyard in Pointe Noire, in line with the winning strategy of maximizing local content". In Asia Pacific and Africa, the note reads, "the company can count on the unique and well-established availability of its own manufacturing yards".

By mid-morning, Saipem's stock advanced by 0,65% on the Stock Exchange.
