With the beginning of the year, the six-legged dog reorganizes its various activities with the aim of keeping the oil business separate from the non-oil one and thus ordering the group's sustainable assets. So he created the newco Eni Sustainable Mobility, dedicated to sustainable mobility and destined to become a multi-service and multi-energy company. It is 100% controlled by Eni and led in the role of CEO by Stefano Ballista, former Director of Sustainable Mobility of Energy Evolution of Eni.

Eni Sustainable Mobility "is a vertically integrated company along the entire value chain, which aims to provide progressively decarbonised services and products for the energy transition, accelerating the path towards zeroing emissions throughout their entire life cycle” says a note from the San Donato Milanese company. In particular, Eni Sustainable Mobility will develop the biorefining, biomethane and the sale of products, services and solutions for mobility sectors, in Italy and abroad, in a path that will see it evolve towards a multi-service and multi-energy company.

“This new company represents the second strategic lever, to be added to Fullness, as part of our energy transition process for the reduction of Scope 3 emissions, the most significant and difficult to eliminate since they are generated by customers through the use of products", said Claudio Descalzi, CEO of Eni.
