Eni, the buyback slows the fall of the share

Today, the six-legged dog announced that between 7 and 10 October it had acquired 490 treasury shares for a total value of 8,4 million euros – the decline in the Eni share is half that of the Ftse Mib.

Eni the buyback continues and limits the fall of the stock on the Stock Exchange. Today, the six-legged dog announced that it had acquired 7 treasury shares between 10 and 490 October for a total value of 8,4 million euros. 

The transaction took place as part of the authorization for the purchase of treasury shares approved by the Eni shareholders' meeting on May 8, 2014.

One hour after the close of trading, the group's shares in Piazza Affari drop 1,8%, to 16,26 euros. In the same minutes, the Ftse Mib did much worse, leaving 3,6% on the ground.
