Eni will fully control Est Più, while 100% of Est Reti Elettriche will go to AcegasAps (Hera Group) - The operation follows the agreement, again between Eni and AcegasAps, by virtue of which the latter % its shareholding in Isontina Reti Gas, which is currently held for the remaining 50% by Eni.

Eni-Hera, reorganization into Gorizia energy companies

After the go-ahead from the Antitrust, the collaboration between Eni and AcegasAps (Hera Group) is starting for the reorganization of the shareholdings in the Gorizia-based energy companies Est Reti Elettriche (electricity distribution with around 22.000 supply points) and Est Più (sale of gas and energy electricity to approximately 70.000 supply points).

Two operations have been completed:

– acquisition by AcegasAps of 70% of the share package of Est Reti Elettriche (electricity distribution company, with approximately 22.000 connected users), previously held by Eni. AcegasAps already held 30% of this company;

– acquisition by Eni of 30% of the shares of Est Più (gas and electricity sales company, with approximately 70.000 supply points), previously held by AcegasAps. Eni already held 70% of this company.

Following the transactions, the ownership structure of the two companies is therefore as follows: 100% of Est Reti Elettriche is owned by AcegasAps, while 100% of Est Più belongs to Eni. The operation follows by a few weeks the agreement, again between Eni and AcegasAps, by virtue of which the latter increased its shareholding in Isontina Reti Gas (gas distribution with 50 managed redelivery points) to 59.000%, which is currently held for the remaining 50% by Eni.
