Eni ha launched il “Corporate Volunteering” program, an initiative dedicated to the employees of the company and its subsidiaries based in Italy. The project, consistent with the values expressed in the company mission and in the Code of Ethics, aims to Strengthen the link between the company and local communities, promoting the active participation of workers in voluntary activities during working hours.
The program is based on the belief that direct involvement of people can generate shared value, contributing to the sustainable development of the territories in which Eni operates. Each employee will be granted up to two days of paid leave per year to dedicate themselves to charitable activities.
Choosing Where to Make a Difference: Employee Freedom and Responsibility
The project offers participants wide freedom in the choice of associations to collaborate with. It will be possible to join initiatives organized in partnership with organizations already affiliated with Eni or independently select a Third Sector Entity (ETS) registered with Runts – the National Single Registry – as long as the activities are consistent with the company's ethical and sustainability principles.
Participation it is not limited to simple operational support: the program also aims to enhance the personal and professional skills of employees, promoting team building experiences, the growth of soft skills and the creation of new bonds between colleagues. In this way, Eni integrates its business model with a concrete commitment to collective well-being.
Agreements with ten third sector entities: solidarity throughout Italy
I am already ten non-profit organizations that have signed collaboration agreements with Eni: Aicca Onlus, Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (Aism), Cefa Onlus, Maria Letizia Verga Committee, Coopi, Albero della Vita Foundation, Ant Italia Onlus Foundation, Banco Alimentare Onlus Foundation, Francesca Rava Foundation and Terre des Hommes.
Le organisers' activities expected yes will take place throughout the national territory and will cover a wide range of interventions: from participation in fundraisers to the packaging and distribution of food, from the animation of summer camps to educational projects, up to art and teddy therapy initiatives for children with cancer. There will also be small maintenance interventions in support of socially useful structures and services.
Through this program, Eni strengthens its role as responsible actor within the company, affirming a corporate culture that places civic engagement and the concrete contribution of its employees to the improvement of local communities at its centre.
