EXCHANGES IN SURPLACE AWAITING US DATA
ENI AND TELECOM ITALIA WEIGH IN MILAN
Surplace bags waiting for the US, at 14 pm, the data on US employed people arrive, the key element of the financial week together with the press conference by Mario Draghi which unleashed the purchases on Thursday afternoon.
This morning the European lists digest the leap forward.
A Milano the FtseMib index lost 0,23% to 15751 weighed down by Eni -1,11% and Telecom Italia -2,55%. Paris - 0,29% and Frankfurt -0,32% are also in the red. London +0,29%.
Meanwhile on the foreign exchange market, Draghi's words continue the descent of the euro, trading this morning at 1,288 against the dollar, from 1,291 at last night's close.
Positive effects also on the government bond market: the 10-year BTP yield fell to 4,34%, the spread contracted to 266 (-7 basis points compared to yesterday).
In the main basket, the best stock is Gtech, up 2,73% after Nomura raised the target price to 28,8 euros and confirmed the buy opinion.
As already mentioned, the decline of Telecom Italia weighs -1,6%, after the announcement that negotiations with H3G for a possible merger with 3Italia have been cancelled. Akros upgraded TiMedia's rating from hold to Accumulate.
Slight progress for banks: Unicredit rises by 0%, Intesa -0,16%, MontePaschi +0,15%, Banca Pop.Milano gains 0,53%, Pop.Emilia +1,79%, Mediobanca +0,43% .
Between the insurance, Fondiaria-Sai , which yesterday gained 6,8%, today rises by another 3,44%, Unipol +1,5%, Generali -0,14%. The rise of Fiat continues, rising by 0,82%, Finmeccanica -1,45%.
With the price of oil stable (Brent at 105,7 dollars a barrel) Eni drops by 1,11%, the subsidiary Saipem drops by 0,35%.
Enel advances by 0,1%.
StM +0,14% : Samsung's disappointing second quarter weighed 3,8%, despite operating margin rising to $8,3 billion. The tech conglomerate expects to end the year with a record operating margin of 9,5 trillion won, ($8,3 billion), up 47% - But competition from China's Huawei is being felt in mobile .
Among the mid caps, Cementir is up 6%, promoted to "buy" by Cheuvreux. Fiera Milano rises by 2,6%, Indesit +2%.
