Eni: after Car2Go comes "Enjoy", a new car sharing in Rome

Tomorrow, 4 June, Eni presents the "Car sharing Enjoy". The appointment is at 15 pm in Rome, on platform 1 of Termini station, in the Presidential Slargo area.

Ignazio Marino, Mayor of Rome, Guido Improta, Councilor for Transport and Mobility, Vincenzo Soprano, CEO of Trenitalia, Salvatore Sardo, Eni Chief Downstream & Industrial Operations Officer and Gianluca Italia, head of Fiat Brand – Emea Region will participate.

Launched last year from Milan, the service, in partnership with Fiat and Trenitalia, arrives in the capital with six hundred red Fiat 500s available to citizens, who with their smartphone will be able to locate the car closest to them and, after use , park it wherever they like. Locating the car is simple, you can book the closest car and reach it within 30 minutes.

If at the heart of a similar initiative such as Car2Go there is a card with which to start cars, "Enjoy" instead is based only on the smartphone app. With this, you will be able to view all the details (location and costs) of the rental and pay directly from your mobile phone.

To open the chosen car, just reply to a text message that will be sent at the time of booking or call the dedicated toll-free number.

According to data released by the group, there are 55 registered customers and over 200 rentals in three months from the activation of the service in Milan. The project will be presented in Rome on June 4 in the presence of the Mayor of Rome Ignazio Marino.
