In Libya, Eni is producing at 80% of its potential and is satisfied with the latest discovery of gas and condensates offshore in the African country. The CEO of the company said so Claudio Descalzi on the sidelines of the Confindustria annual meeting.
“In Libya we are now at 80% of our production capacity,” says Descalzi. The CEO also said that the recent discovery in the North African country "is very interesting and is close to existing installations. It's all offshore. It is a useful gas for Italy and Libya”. The CEO then added that it is a discovery that comes at a difficult time and it is a great sign of trust also for our Libyan partners.
