Eni, net profit and dividend grow to 1,04 euro per share

Eni, net profit and dividend grow to 1,04 euro per share

2011 closed on a positive note for the Italian energy giant. The Eni group recorded a consolidated net profit up 8% compared to 2010 to 6,86 billion euros and an operating profit of 4,213 billion. The results announced on 15 February are confirmed. Consolidated revenues increased to 110,552 million euros from 99,47 in 2010. This was announced by the Board of Directors which today approved the 2011 financial statements. 

The Board has decided to propose to the assembly a dividend of 1,04 euros per share, of which 0,52 euros have already been distributed as an advance. The remaining 52 cents will be paid on May 24 and the coupon will come off on May 21.

La next meeting of Eni's top management will be held on 30 April.

Around 15.30 pm the Eni stock in Piazza Affari gains 0,6% to 18,33 euros per share.
