Eni places bonds worth 2,25 billion euro on the European market

The transaction was structured in two tranches: 1.250 million euro at a rate of 4,625% maturing on June 24, 2105; 1.000 million euro at a rate of 5,750% maturing on October 24, 2018. The recipients of the issue will mainly be institutional investors.

Eni places bonds worth 2,25 billion euro on the European market

Enel yesterday placed a multi-tranche bond issue on the European market, intended for institutional investors, for a total of 2.250 million euros.

The issue was carried out in execution of the resolution passed by the board of directors on 16 June as part of the Global Medium Term Notes programme. The operation was carried out by a syndicate of banks made up of Barclays, Bnp Paribas, Banca Imi, BBVA, Banco Santander, Deutsche Bank and Unicredit as joint bookrunners and received subscriptions for an amount exceeding 12 billion euro.
