Three thousand euros gross as a one-off for 2023, 45% increase in the value of food stamps on smart working days e fuel bonus from 200 euros. These are the three pillars on which the extraordinary plan is based corporate welfare announced by Eni and intended for its 20 thousand employees in Italy, with the exception of managers. The intervention aims to support workers "in the current economic situation", writes the group led by Claudio Descalzi in a note. In total the company's investment will be equal to 85 million euros.

Eni: 3 thousand euros to employees in November
Among the corporate welfare measures announced by Eni, the extraordinary bonus stands out above all one-off payment of 3 thousand euros gross. Workers won't have to wait long to receive it. The sum will in fact be disbursed already with the November skills.
Eni and the increase in meal vouchers
The second intervention, the one on meal vouchers, will not have an "extraordinary" nature, but a stable one. Which means that the value of the electronic meal vouchers recognized to employees on smart working days will rise by 45%. Translated into numbers, this is an increase from 5,5 to 8 euros per meal voucher. For its employees who work in person, Eni provides not meal vouchers, but company canteens.
Returning to smart working, introduced by Eni in 2017 and strengthened in 2021, the group led by Claudio Descalzi defines it as "a tool that promotes a better conciliation between professional and personal needs" and for this reason has also established, the expansion of smart working options welfare & sustainability aimed at parents, employees suffering from pathologies or family members with disabilities.
Fuel Bonus
Finally, "in accordance with the provisions of current legislation", Eni will recognize a fuel or electric charging bonus worth 200 euros by the end of the year.
Sports centers at discounted prices
Eni, the company underlines, promotes “the daily well-being of people. From this attention comes the care and quality of the company's catering services and the possibility for all employees and their families to access a platform through which they can subscribe to subscriptions at a discounted rate from a network of approximately 2.000 sports centers in Italy".
The interventions of other companies
Last week Intesa Sanpaolo, has officially announced its intention to bring forward the request for a contractual increase for its 80 thousand bank employees, equal to an average gross monthly amount of 435 euros when fully operational.
Then there are the companies that have announced interventions Prada (performance bonus up to 1.450 euros plus 1.300 welfare) Ferrero (company welfare + 7.600 euros to employees in 3 years), Heineken (8.715 euro premium, plus welfare and permits) ed Essilor Luxottica with a maxi bonus for employees of 4.100 euros in welfare.
