Agreement between Eni e Total for the right of the East technology developed by the Italian company. The two groups today signed an agreement that allows the French company to use Eni technology for the refining process, which allows the conversion of heavy petroleum products into lighter components and is used industrially in the Sannazzaro refinery, in the province of Pavia , since 2013.
Furthermore, as stated in the joint note released this morning, the two groups have launched a joint cooperation project "aimed at evaluating and adapting this technology to Total's production needs".
