Engineering: in the first half EBITDA +7,4%, profit +21,4%

The value of production stands at 412,5 million (+3%), the ebitda exceeds 30 million euros (+7,4%), the ebit stands at 23,6 million (+27,1% ) – The net financial position is positive for 45,2 million.

Engineering archives the first half of 2014 with a net profit of 17,8 million. The company communicates this in a note, specifying that the figure is not comparable with the profits of 41,2 million recorded in the same period last year, because at the time the company's accounts had benefited from badwill of 26,5 million euros . Net of this difference, half-yearly profit grew by 21,4%.

“We are very satisfied with the first half results – commented the managing director of Engineering, Paul Pandozy – which confirm the growth forecasts already formulated at the end of the previous year. In the light of these results, we believe we can close the year with a production value of between 840 and 860 million euros and an EBITDA of between 104 and 106 million".

Lastly, the BoD approved the project for the transfer of the business branch relating to Managed Operations activities to the subsidiary Engineering.mo spa.

In a dramatic day for the Italian Stock Exchange after the publication of the data on GDP, Engineering's share dropped by 4,77% at the beginning of the afternoon, a 38,09 euro.
