E.ON Italy has reached an agreement with the Swiss BKW Group for the acquisition of the majority stake in La Casa delle Nuove Energie, a company active in Italy in the supply of services and solutions for energy efficiency to residential and business customers, such as heat pumps, efficient lighting and home automation, and for the distributed generation, including photovoltaics.

Established in 2007, The Casa delle Nuove Energie initially specialized in the field of solar energy, to then develop relevant skills and operational capacity over the years in the field of energy efficiency services. It is active throughout the national territory, thanks to a widespread direct and indirect sales network made up of around 100 affiliates and agents. With this acquisition E.ON gives substance to its development strategy in Italy to provide its customers with solutions in line with the new world of energy. Thanks to this integration, E.ON will in fact be able to provide consumers with the possibility of producing energy and consuming it efficiently and consciously, benefiting from a complementary offer which can cover the entire energy supply chain.

The widespread territorial presence of E.ON on the Italian market and the complete portfolio in the field of energy efficiency conferred by La Casa delle Nuove Energie integrate to offer a wide range of 360° energy solutions for the home and business. “This acquisition allows E.ON to take a new step forward in what our company has defined as the new world of energy: a decentralized, sustainable and interconnected system.
